Client Responsibilities
The client is responsible for providing all necessary information, materials, and approvals required for the completion of the project in a timely manner. This includes, but is not limited to, providing accurate project briefs, securing necessary permissions for filming locations, and providing timely feedback on drafts.
Project Timelines
Aurora Visuals will provide estimated project timelines in the project proposal. These timelines are estimates and may be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances, such as weather delays or client-requested changes.
Revisions and Changes
The project proposal will outline the number of revisions included in the project scope. Additional revisions may be subject to additional fees. Changes to the project scope after the project has commenced may also result in additional fees and adjustments to the project timeline.
Cancellation Policy
If the client cancels the project after it has commenced, the client will be responsible for paying for all work completed up to the point of cancellation, as well as any non-refundable expenses incurred by Aurora Visuals.
Payment Terms
These Payment Terms outline the payment policies for video production services provided by Aurora Visuals.
Payment Schedule
A deposit of 50% of the total project cost is required to commence work. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the project and delivery of the final video files. For larger projects, a payment schedule may be agreed upon.
Payment Methods
Aurora Visuals accepts payments via credit card, bank transfer, and check. All payments must be made in US dollars.
Late Payment Fees
Late payments may be subject to a late payment fee of 5% of the outstanding balance per month.
Expenses
The client is responsible for reimbursing Aurora Visuals for any expenses incurred during the project, such as travel costs, location fees, and equipment rentals. These expenses will be clearly outlined in the project proposal or invoiced separately.
Taxes
All prices quoted are exclusive of applicable taxes. The client is responsible for paying any applicable taxes.
Intellectual Property
This section outlines the ownership and usage rights of the intellectual property created during video production projects.
Ownership of Footage
Unless otherwise agreed upon in writing, Aurora Visuals retains ownership of all raw footage and materials created during the project.
Usage Rights
Upon full payment, the client will receive a non-exclusive license to use the final video for the agreed-upon purposes as outlined in the project proposal. This may include usage on the client's website, social media channels, and marketing materials.
Commercial Rights
The client may use the final video for commercial purposes unless otherwise restricted by specific agreements or licensing terms. Aurora Visuals retains the right to showcase the final video in its portfolio and marketing materials.
Third-Party Materials
The client is responsible for obtaining all necessary licenses and permissions for any third-party materials used in the video, such as music, stock footage, and images. Aurora Visuals can assist in sourcing and licensing these materials if requested, subject to additional fees.
Copyright
The final video is protected by copyright law. Any unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of the video is strictly prohibited.
